Learn moreFrequently Asked Questions
Are your technicians qualified?
Yes, very much so! Our technicians are trained to service over 55 equipment brands, including some 15 brands of refrigeration equipment. They receive four full years of training to become fully certified and licensed to inter-provincial standards.
How often should I have my refrigeration equipment inspected and/or serviced?
Upon the initial inspection of your equipment, we can put together an inspection/maintenance plan for you.
What sort of refrigeration equipment do you service?
We service a broad range of refrigeration equipment from a number of manufacturers – from large to small coolers and freezers, either self-contained or remotely controlled units – we can do it all.
How do you dispose of refrigerants?
Our technicians are trained in the proper handling and disposal of refrigerants. As part of our commitment to our environment, we either reclaim and reuse, or properly dispose of all refrigerants in a legislated safe and clean manner.
How often should I have the coils on my refrigeration equipment cleaned?
It really depends on your specific conditions (location, environment, operating levels, etc.) but typically we recommend getting it done four times per year.
What does Techni-Craft do during a refrigeration preventative maintenance service call?
Well, our list is quite detailed, but here are a few of the things we do – check refrigerant levels, clean condensers, check door seals, check for proper operating temperatures.
